Van Hughes wrote, composed and starred in SPACE DOGS at MCC Theatre with Nick Blaemire (2022). Van starred in American Idiot on Broadway and led the US Tour. Most recent: The Ballad of Johnny and June (dir. Des MacAnuff) at La Jolla Playhouse & Citadel Theatre. Other Broadway: Almost Famous, Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, 9 to 5 and Hairspray. Film: Sex and the City I&II, Rachel Getting Married. TV: Law & Order: SVU, Royal Pains, and One Life To Live. B.A. in Theatre from Fordham University.
