Summer Sides is an educator, creative entrepreneur, and lifelong theater lover whose love for Broadway was sparked by her Dad. She’s the creator of Read Broadway, a project dedicated to uncovering the books and stories behind Broadway's classic hits and hidden gems. With a background in dance and a love for exploring storytelling through curiosity, creativity, and courage, Summer brings a fresh perspective to the stage.
Through Read Broadway, she invites theater fans and book lovers to connect with the stories that first lived on the page. Known for her warm, engaging style, Summer’s insights resonate with theater buffs, bookworms, and newcomers alike, inspiring a deeper appreciation for the storytelling that defines Broadway.
Outside of theater, Summer geeks out on movement and mindset, loves the mountains, time with her puppies, and a good Netflix binge. She approaches life and work with a spirit of exploration, connection, and finding inspiration in unexpected places.
