About me
Samantha Laurent is the Social Media and Content Manager at La Jolla Playhouse (@lajollaplayhouse) in San Diego, California. As a life-long theatre kid, Samantha was an avid performer in community theatre programs from elementary school through college. By combining her BA in English from Willamette University, her skills developed as a freelance graphic designer, and her love of theatre, she started her career with Ovation Theatre (San Diego, CA) where she worked for five years as the Digitial Marketing Specialist. After creating and growing their social media presence, Samantha was eager to continue her work in social media management and content creation and was thrilled to join the Tony Award winning La Jolla Playhouse team in October of 2023. Samantha loves using social media to build community and highlight the many talented artists that work at and come to the Playhouse.
