About me
Michael Wysong is a Manhattan-based musical theatre composer and lyricist who was described by Cabaret Scenes as “a wry and clever songwriter and political satirist in the tradition of Tom Lehrer…a major talent to be kept track of.” His two-man musical comedy about the Unabomber, The TUNEabomber, (written with John Lampe) ran at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has sold out cabaret venues throughout NYC. Other credits include new music for a production of Marat/Sade, music and sound design for Macbeth (New York Shakespeare Company), and music and sound design for Aunt Jack (Theater for the New City). When not working on theatre projects, Michael enjoys helping other theatre artists find the perfect rehearsal space in his role as Director of Sales at Open Jar Studios.
