Howard Ho is a playwright, composer, and Youtuber. His Youtube channel (
youtube.com/HowardHoMusic) has over 125,000 subscribers and was recognized by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jon M. Chu. His Youtube video essay series titled HOW HAMILTON WORKS has received over 5 million views collectively and is being adapted into a forthcoming book about the music theory of Hamilton to be released later this year through Smith & Kraus. He is a 2024 winner of the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival for BEETHOVEN’S THIRD. His play PARITY was performed in Pan Asian Rep’s NuWorks Festival. His play RESET was produced at Moving Arts in 2023, was an O'Neill National Playwrights Finalist, and now is published by Next Stage Press. His play WHERE I’M FROM was featured in Center Theatre Group’s Community Stories and is being developed into a full-length musical. Currently, you can hear his work Off Broadway as the composer/sound designer for MY MAN KONO, running at A.R.T. New York thru March 9.
