About me
Heather Augustine is an audio engineer based in NYC. Currently she is mixing The Outsiders and previously subbed on the mix for several shows including Funny Girl, SIX, Beautiful Noise, Life of Pi, and Peter Pan Goes Wrong.
Before she moved to New York, she spent 10 years touring the US and Canada with Broadway musicals including the 1st National Tour of Mean Girls, the revival of Miss Saigon, and other theatre classics like Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s re-imagined The Wizard of Oz. Other tours include Dirty Dancing and Billy Elliot.
She is a member, mentor, and blog contributor to the SoundGirls organization which supports and educates women and non-binary identifying who are interested in pursuing a career in live sound or recording.
She graduated from Penn State University with a BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology, Emphasis on Sound Design
