AMBER LAWSON (Performer/Director/Creator) has dedicated over 15 years to the art of immersive theater, appearing in more than 1,500 productions across the globe. From Africa to the Middle East, Europe, and the Caribbean, Amber has captivated audiences worldwide while collaborating with industry giants such as Disney, HBO, Netflix, Universal, Paramount, DreamWorks, BuzzFeed, and the US Armed Forces.
Her work includes originating roles for immersive productions at New York Fringe, Hollywood Fringe, and Comic Cons, with one production reaching Off-Broadway in 2017. A sought-after performer and educator, Amber has delivered private performances for celebrity clientele and coaches directors, and actors nationwide in the unique craft of immersive theater.
Currently, Amber is the Director of American Immersion Theater Los Angeles, Co-Founded The American Immersion Theater School, developing a curriculum for immersive theater, producing a documentary about immersive theater communities, and writing a tribute to the trailblazing of this innovative art form.
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with degrees in Dance, Musical Theater Performance, and Arts Management, Amber remains passionate about pushing the boundaries of immersive theater and inspiring future generations to invite the audiences to be at the heart of the story.
