About me
Alyssa Payne is a multi-hyphenate artist best known for her viral Instagram videos and EP, Patiently Waiting. In the last year, she has been a Write Out Loud Finalist, Johnny Mercer participant, and lyricist for The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. She recently debuted her original one woman show,”Extra Crispy” at Forestburgh Playhouse through the Into The Woods Into The Works festival. An alumni of The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Alyssa earned her BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in songwriting. She was the recipient of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship through the American Theater Wing, which connected her to mentor, Shaina Taub, who Alyssa assisted with Suffs on Broadway. Payne embraces the complexities of modern life, weaving together sharp wit and genuine emotion to create stories that resonate with today's audiences.
