About me
Julie is Certified Fundraising Executive and Certified 21/64 Trainer. Julie is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver. She teaches in their non-profit leadership master’s program and has been instrumental in creating the curriculum for the course.
Julie Meyers (M.A. New York University; Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE)) is enthusiastic about educating and engaging new leaders in the non-profit sector. She is joyful when creating new connections between the for-profit community and the non-profit sector.
She has three decades of experience in philanthropy. As the Executive Director of a community foundation, Julie helped over 500 people leave legacies to organizations. Julie has created many ways for non-profit organizations and people to collaborate. Julie has led fundraising seminars – which allowed organizations to work together, share best practices and find new solutions for taxing problems. In addition to conceptualizing and leading fundraising programs, Julie was a Fellow at Princeton University and has taught at SUNY New Paltz and NYU.
