Join performer and licensed therapist Kimberly Hershenson for a much-needed panel highlighting the impacts of body image issues on performance. Kimberly’s unique history informs her perspective, which will be woven together with panelists’ firsthand experiences to illuminate the pressures of performance on one’s sense of self. Additional focus will be placed on developing an understanding of useful strategies for coping with these pressures.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I was a ballet dancer with the Joffrey Ballet. I have worked successfully with clients who have experienced issues such as Eating Disorders, Body Image, and Addiction and am a summa cum laude from Columbia University's School of Social Work.
